We build our own products,
and we build for others.
Cygnet 7 is a small studio. We take consumer software from an idea to something running in production — design, engineering, infrastructure and the unglamorous parts in between. Our own apps fund the studio; client work gets the same people and the same standard.
What we do
Backends & infrastructure
APIs, databases and the deployment pipeline that puts them live. Cloud Run, Postgres, CI that ships on merge rather than by hand.
AI where it earns its place
Language models are a component, not a product. We use them where they beat the alternative, and keep the deterministic parts deterministic.
How we work

Shipped, not demoed
We run what we build. Our own products are in the stores with real users and real invoices, which is a different discipline from a prototype that never has to survive a Monday.

Honest by default
Our software doesn't flatter its users, and we don't flatter our clients. If an idea won't work, or a deadline won't hold, you hear it early — while it's still cheap.

Small on purpose
You talk to the people writing the code. There's no account layer between the brief and the build, and nothing gets lost being passed along.

Janma
Vedic astrology, read honestly · iOS & Android
Janma computes a precise Jyotish birth chart from the exact date, time and place someone was born, then reads it — a life reading across the next twenty years, an answer to a question in their own words, or a compatibility report between two charts. Sidereal calculations, in Sinhala and English.
It names difficulty as plainly as it names good news, which is unusual in its category and the reason people keep it.
